Veterans Resource Center
The Veterans Resource Center is an on-campus facility designed to help Veterans and their dependents with homework, VA benefits and Admissions.
It also provides computer access, free printing services, appointments with a designated VA counselor for VA course planners, and a place to hang out and meet other Veterans on campus.

"Got Your Six" Mentor Program
Mentors help new students to succeed during their first or second semester at SCC.
The Got Your Six Mentor Program is sponsored by the Sacramento City College Veteran Resource Center.

Enrolling as a Veteran
All students must begin by applying to the college.
If you are a Veteran, please submit a copy of your DD214 (Member 4 copy showing honorable discharge) to the Veterans Affairs Office located in the Student Services Building, Room 103. Submitting your DD214 will ensure you will receive Veterans priority registration.
All Veterans who submit a DD214 with a minimum of one year of active duty with honorable discharge will also receive four units toward Physical Education and Living Skills of general education.
