SCC Among 6 Selected Nationally for $50k Grant
Sacramento City College (SCC) is one six community colleges nationally that has been selected to participate in a multi-year career preparation cohort model that will lead students directly into the workforce. Along with the opportunity to participate in the cohort, SCC will receive a $50,000 grant from New America, in partnership with the Lumina Foundation, to support the work.

Sacramento City College Awarded Major Federal Child Care Grant
Sacramento City College Awarded Major Federal Child Care Grant College, along with two other Los Rios colleges, has been awarded a federal grant to support child care and family services on campus. The multi-year grant will support a variety of campus programs at the college’s child development centers.
