Child Development Center

The Child Development Center at the main campus is an affordable childcare option (ages 3 to 5) and (ages 6 months to 23 months) for eligible SCC students and Los Rios employees. There are also limited openings for families and community members who would pay full/partial cost.

It is a hands-on learning environment for SCC students enrolled in Child Development and Early Childhood Education courses.

Meals

Childcare includes meals for the full-day and the part-day programs at the center.

The Child and Adult Food Program of the Office of Child Nutrition Services, USDA, subsidizes the meals served at the center. At enrollment parents will be asked to complete a "Food Program Eligibility" form. The center serves breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. All meals meet the requirements of the Food Program. Children with special diets will be accommodated within reasonable limits.
