Free Physical Health Services Available to Students
Student Health and Wellness Services is here for you. We are accepting on-campus appointments or walk-ins for the following services:
- Health and illness assessments
- First aid for minor injuries and illness
- Over the counter medications
- Narcan and fentanyl testing strips
- Pregnancy testing
- Sexual health concerns/education
- Condoms (male and female) and lubricant
- Flu A/B testing
- Strep Throat testing
- Covid self tests
- Flu vaccine
- TB risk assessments
- Health requirements for academic programs
- Recommendations and referrals to community/campus resources
- Assistance with finding health insurance
Some costs may apply for the following services:

Confidentiality and Privacy
All services provided by Health and Wellness Services are kept strictly confidential according to State and Federal regulations, HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act), and FERPA.
College nurses will respect your privacy and not share anything you tell them, except in the following situations:
- You give us reason to believe that you may be in danger of harming yourself
- You give us reason to believe that you may intend to harm another
- You give us reason to believe that you may be a victim of abuse
We are required by law to report these three situations. However, we will also be there to help you and support you with your problems in any way we can.

Emergencies
If you are having a life-threatening physical health emergency – please call 911. If your health issue is not life-threatening, please visit the Student Health and Wellness Center for care.
If you are having a mental health emergency – such as active suicidal thoughts or feelings of wanting to harm yourself or others – please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
