Sacramento City College will be closed on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in observance of Veterans Day. No classes will be held and all college offices will be closed.

Events

To honor and celebrate those who have served, join us for these events:

Student Veteran Listening Session

Monday, November 8, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm via Zoom.

All Los Rios student veterans are invited to this listening session. This event will provide a supportive place for our veterans in light of recent events surrounding the U.S. withdrawal out of Afghanistan and issues related to the pandemic. Hosted by the ARC Veterans Resource Center in collaboration with Los Rios’ Center for Mental Health and Wellness.

Honor & Celebrating Community Veterans

Wednesday, November 10, from 3:00 to 4:30 pm via Zoom.

Join us as we honor and celebrate the contributions and creativity of veterans in our community. Presenters include veteran Reneé Marie and Maria Maldonado of Peace Poles for Schools, as well as student veteran Will Hong. Hosted by the FLC Equity Center.

The fall 2021 semester starts August 21 and ends December 16. Final exams are December 10 to 16. See all dates and deadlines related to enrollment, dropping classes, and petitioning for pass/no pass.
