December 6, 2022

Chemistry students and professor in the lab

Need to fulfill your GE science (with lab) requirements for non-science majors? Sign up for CHEM 330 (Adventures in Chemistry) in the spring!

In this 4-unit course, you will learn about art and chemistry, how to make soap, plastic recycling, counting calories, chemicals in household products, flame tests, and more!

This is a hybrid course that includes online lectures and once-a-week, in-person lab classes – students can choose to attend in the state-of-the-art lab facilities at the SCC Davis Center or the new science building at the main campus! This course also is perfect for high school students to take concurrently through our Dual Enrollment program (formerly called Advanced Education)!
