Transfer Virtual Resource Directory

The Transfer Center at Sacramento City College provides current information to help students know their options and opportunities when transferring to a 4-Year University.

We believe that students have the potential to transfer to any 4-Year University in which they will grow and thrive.

Each semester we provide workshops, tours, and fairs to assist students with their transfer goals.

Services Provided

Computer Lab

The Transfer Center has a seven person computer lab open to all students. Students may research  colleges and scholarships, attend webinars, take virtual tours, print transcripts, or iChat with college representatives.

College Fairs
  • Transfer Day (Fall Each Year): Private colleges and universities, Universities of California, and California State Universities will be on the SCC Main Campus providing admission requirements and campus information
  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU): Learn about their admission guarantee and campuses
  • Spring Sting: Sacramento State departments and student support and services on the SCC Main Campus
College Tours

Two or three college tours are offered each semester. Stop by the Transfer Center for more information.

Information on 4-year Universities

Find handouts and brochures from 4-year universities. Research university and college catalogs to look up your major and upper division work you will be doing once you are enrolled at your next institution.
