This course supports the Aircraft Maintenance Technician Program 300 series classes to provide additional instruction for the preparation of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) written, oral, and practical exams. This course meets, in part, the certification requirements of Part 147 of the Federal Aviation Regulations covering Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics. The amount of credit awarded is based on the total number of hours completed (9 hours lecture and 27 hours of lab = 1 unit). Credit is earned in one-unit increments over the four semesters.
