  • The renovation of historical Hughes Stadium is well underway with Phase II of the project, which involves the installation of a new field turf playing surface, press box, wheelchair access, scoreboard and track.  Below are a couple of pictures of the progress from the week of April 2nd.  We will be providing weekly updates to show the progress as the new and improved Hughes Stadium gets prepped for the 2012 season.

  • Former Softball Coach, Bob Maglione, was honored at the State Championship Banquet and inducted into the CCCAA Softball Coaches Hall of Fame.  He retired with a record of 1,177 wins and 381 losses - click here for more

  • Former Panther, Cortney Allen, helps lead CSU San Marcos to their first ever 50 win season as they win the A.I.I. Conference Tourney and are headed to the NAIA Championships in Alabama May 17-23.  Allen was selected to the All-Tourney team and named the Tournament MVP - click for more

  • Former Panther, Akiem Hicks is drafted in the 3rd round by the New Orleans Saints - click here for more

  • Men's Basketball makes history with their 112-104 win over Redwoods...it is the team's best start (at 9-1) since the 1953-54 team started 11-0.  In addition, Coach Jones notched his 200th career win (school record is 242 by Ned Kay from 1940-54)
