Class Lecture/Lab: Monday 6-7:40pm in B109 We will co-mingle lecture and lab.
This class is a HYBRID course. Hybrid means that part of the time will be spent in class, and part of the time will be spent doing the work on your own.
It would normally meet for 3 hours of lecture and 3 hours of lab each week plus
have at least 6 hours of homework each week. Since it will only meet face to face for two hours a week,
you must plan the time to spend another 4 hours plus 6 hours on homework each week.
Class sessions each Monday evening are mandatory!
SCC B151 Computer Lab Hours: TBA
In addition to the class lecture hours, students will need to spend time on a
computer connected to the internet to complete the homework assignments.
Students should allow 2-6 or more hours of computer lab time for every one hour
spent in the classroom. Since the lecture and lab will be intermingled, students
should plan to attend the full session each class meeting. We will be learning
something new each night and you won't want to miss any new materials. There will be
handouts for each session that you need to get from the Blackboard Website if you
are absent. You must already have a background in some programming language to take
this course because we will build advanced programs in this class.
Course Description: Description: This course builds upon previous web
publishing and web programming concepts using the A.S.P. (Active Server Pages) language.

it applies to the development of interactive web sites. Topics include server side
includes, dynamic XHTML, forms, client-side programming with Javascript,
scripting with ASP, and web database interactivity with SQL Server 2000.
We will spend some time on ASP.NET in this course. We will use C# as the tool to write ASP.NET. Our Database will be MS SQL Server
