WELCOME TO PROF. ANDERSON’S ONLINE COURSE

Your first task is to navigate to the course website read the syllabus, and other course documents then take the Orientation Quiz, and do the Practice Assignment. Make sure you have read the course syllabus thoroughly. Use the course syllabus, and other course document to take the Orientation Quiz, it only has a few questions.

Finding Prof. Anderson’s Online Class

1. Go to http://www.someprofs.org (as shown below). The Learning Management System (LMS) we’ll be using is Moodle (NOT Blackboard) and the someprofs site is where your course site will be hosted all semester long.

2. Once you get to the someprofs.org page, click on Students click here to login (as shown below).

3. Type your username (student id number) and password, then click on Login (as shown below). Attention! A randomly generated password was sent to your iMail account (http://imail.losrios.edu). Please, make sure your iMail account is activated and your messages will become available to you.

4. Once you successfully login, you’ll see the main page containing all courses hosted by various ARC and SCC professors. You should see your course on the left-hand side of the page click on the link to enter your course.

5. The course main page will load. Course materials will be organized and released in weekly blocks.
