Lab Schedule: The Lab is open 6 days a week, during the following hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Friday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Saturday: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

The Department boasts a state-of-the-art Design Lab available to students enrolled in Graphic Communication courses. All Lab computers are 2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMacs with 20 inch displays, internal CD/DVD burners and 4GB of RAM. This isn't your father's Mac Lab (unless you're my son Connor, in which case, shouldn't you being doing your homework or something.) The Lab also hosts two flatbed scanners, two postscript laser printers, two color ink jet printers and an oversized inkjet printer capable of large format photo quality printing. (Inquire at the lab for printing costs.)

The Software: Lab software includes The Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects, Fireworks, Acrobat), Maya, Modo, FontLab TypeTool, and QuarkXPress 7, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite.
